Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. When she was a kid, she listened to lots of classical music and old boleros. She also listened to traditional romantic ballads and ranchero. Ana has a passion for tangos, opera, and all forms of dramatic performance. She was taught by her mother to sing, however she began more intensive vocal training with Flavio Belcerra at 16 when the singer was famous as a Mexican opera Tenor. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and later to the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. She sang in Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young scholar and professional. When she moved to the United States in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present home in the southern part of California. She has performed solo Latin American music for private occasions and is a part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. As an active performer as well as an instructor and instructor, her passion for art and music has her engaged in a wide range of initiatives. Ana is a previous member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as well as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for the opportunity to share her passion and passion of the traditional Latin American songs with others as she hopes to instill a sense of, especially among younger generations, to help keep this tradition alive.Viva Mexico!
