Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit, an Indian actress who is famous for her role in Hum Aapke Hing Koun (Beta Saajan) and Beta Saajan is among the most popular Indian actors. She first began her career as a performer in the 1980s. Her fame was boosted by the film Tezaab starring the veteran actor Anil Kooor. In the next film, Dil, Aamir Khan appeared alongside her. Born into a middle-class family in Mumbai she started learning dance from a very young age. As a young woman began acting, but had a difficult time as a majority films she made were not successful. Then she found her way to success and she was one of the most well-known actresses within the Indian film business. In the aftermath of her wedding, she took a short time off from her acting career before returning. Recently, she played a major role as a character in Gulaab Gang. The film featured the challenges faced by women across India. Dixit has been nominated for the fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she won eight. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award awarded to civilians in India is bestowed to Dixit. Her name is well-known for her social works as well.
